Established as a beauty expert by Allure and Daily Candy, world-renowned makeup artist and eyebrow specialist, Landy Dean takes great pride in his roots, drawing on his colorful journey for inspiration. Growing up in a small Florida beach town, Landy didn't immediately recognize makeup artist as a potential career path, but his flair for the creative inspired him to study art. While specializing in illustration, Landy discovered his passion for make-up and set off for New York.
Landy quickly immersed himself in the beauty industry. He traveled the world as the top makeup artist for Vincent Longo cosmetics before signing with a prestigious Italian agency. In Milan, Landy's career soared. He became widely respected for his work making up models at the runway shows of fashion designers Armani, Prada and Versace. At the same time, Landy's editorial work appeared in numerous top international titles.
Since returning to New York, Landy has continued to polish his craft, gaining recognition as an A-list artist. His loyalists include editors-in-cheif, socialites, celebrities and women who simply enojoy the benefits of a gifted makeup-artist.
Whether making up a bride on her wedding day, working with a model for a magazine cover or creating the perfect eyebrow, Landy enjoys sharing his technically trained eye, classic taste and sense of humor-all in the name of beauty and a good time.
In April 2010, Landy joined the Marie Robinson salon as a make up artist and eyebrow expert.
